Spoiler Policy For Sentence Reviews

Let me start by saying I have a strong, strong aversion to learning critical elements of a film before I see it. In some cases, I think the trailer of a movie gives away too much. The director has a vision of how the story should unfold, and I'm content to place myself in his or her hopefully capable hands.

It should come as no surprise, then, that I try to avoid giving anything away in my reviews. But the purpose of this site is entertainment. If the most entertaining thing I could say involved giving you a peak behind the curtain of what's going to happen in the movie, I'd probably do it. It would have to be a funny sentence, but I would do it.

I hold any submitted sentences to the same standard. In most cases I will reject a sentence with spoilers. Exceptions occur when most of the earth's inhabitants already know the secret (i.e. Darth Vader is Luke's father), or the sentence is just so funny that I don't care.
